Bienvenidos a Tesoro Preschool! We are located in North Park, San Diego, Ca.

Tesoro means treasure in the Spanish language. At Tesoro Preschool, we believe that every child is a treasure. Our name ties to our mission, values and philosophy which are the essence of our program. Our students, families and teachers are our treasures. Everyday learning and the Tesoro experience at our preschool will be your child’ s treasure. Everything we do is based on the Tesoro Way which is a commitment to provide the best education and learning experience possible to every child in our program.

Tesoro Preschool - A Magical Place to Be!

Learning, laughter, fun and memories is what the Tesoro experience encompasses…but wait, there is more! Happiness, joy, smiles and excitement will also be part of your child’s daily experience.

Tesoro Preschool is a dual language immersion academic and play-based program. We emphasize learning while having fun. Our focus is the development of the whole child. At Tesoro, we are focused on every domain of a child’ s development. Our goal is to foster a partnership with every family to ensure that our students are well-rounded in their skills and abilities, and become kind and compassionate members of our society. Our research-based social and emotional skills curriculum is implemented on a daily basis in every classroom

Tesoro Preschool is centrally located in the North Park community and serves the Greater San Diego region. Our program enrolls children between 2 and 5 years of age. Children enrolled in our program are not required to be potty trained. We are here to help with that process! We are open 7:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Program Highlights

Assessments and Conferences Begin in October

August and September have been wonderful months for our teachers to truly get to know your child and your family. We are excited to build on that connection this October through our fall assessments and parent-teacher conferences. We will be sharing sign-up details soon so you and your child’s teacher can sit down, connect, and celebrate your little one’s growth together.
