Picture Day lands on September 10 this year, and our photographer is setting up a fall backdrop for every class.
Warm fall colors look loveliest against that background. Think oranges, deep reds, mustard yellows, and soft browns. There is no dress code beyond that, just colors that feel like the season.
We also ask that children come without costumes that morning. Tesoro has plenty of dress up days ahead, including Halloween and our Literacy Parade, and your Tesorito will get every chance to be a dinosaur or a princess. We save Picture Day for the classic photo your family will keep on the wall.
If your child does not own a thing in fall colors, please do not worry for a moment. Any everyday outfit looks wonderful. What really makes a Picture Day photo is a child who feels comfortable, well rested, and ready to smile.
