Summer camp means a lot of things at Tesoro Preschool. Themed weeks. Spanish movie days. Picnics. And water play days that the kids genuinely look forward to all week long.
Water play is woven throughout our summer camp schedule, and we want families to feel prepared and excited.
Here is what families need to know:
Send your child dressed for water play on designated splash days. A swimsuit under their clothes or a change of clothes in their bag works well.
Water play takes place on campus and may include sprinklers, splash pads, and sensory water tables depending on the activity for the day.
Sunscreen applied before school is appreciated.
Check the weekly schedule updates in Brightwheel to see which days are water play days for your child’s classroom. Ms. Chesna and our teaching team post photos and updates each week so you always know what is happening.
Water play days are one of those camp memories that kids talk about at the dinner table. We are so glad to make them possible every summer at Tesoro.
