Every other month we clear out the hall at Tesoro, set out snacks, and give the whole room to our parents for an hour.
Our next Parent Mingle is August 21 at 4:00 pm. It is simple on purpose. There is no agenda beyond good conversation with the families who share this school year with you.
We started Parent Mingle because community needs a little help getting going. Families wave at drop off and smile at pick up, and there is rarely a moment to actually talk. This hour gives you that moment.
Expect snacks, a light activity to break the ice, and about an hour together before you head to pick up your child. Many parents leave with a new friend, and some of the warmest friendships in our Tesoro family began right there in that hall.
If you are new to Tesoro this year, this is the easiest way we know to meet other families and start feeling at home here. If you have been with us a while, it is a lovely chance to catch up with the parents you already adore.
